The man or woman wishing to get married should have the following eligibility to get married in Thailand.

  1. First, either of them should not be less than 17 years of age.
  2. Either of them should not be insane person or adjudged incompetent.
  3. Both of them should not be in blood relations in the direct descendant or descendant clan.
  4. Also, both of them should not have the same adoptive parents.
  5. Finally, either of them should not have a spouse at the time of marriage.

Thai marriage registration varies depending on nationality. Now, let’s talk about the following documents required for the marriage registration in Thailand for foreigners.

  1. First, a copy of their passport along with the arrival card
  2. Second, affidavit regarding the marital status of the person from the respective embassy
